Death Grips - Get Got

After what I assume to be years of thankless artistic merit, the gentlemen of Death Grips are going to be reminding the commercialized world what music really means with the release of their album The Money Store on April 24th.  The big surprise is that it is to be released on Epic records.  What isn’t surprising at all is that Death Grips is staying true to their game, with Rides serpentine flow weaving its way through the all at once glitzy and bombastic production that makes up Get Got.  Major label or no, you’ll be finding no complaints from this satisfied fan.  Between this and the previously released “Blackjack”, I think it’s safe to say that Death Grips are taking the cash and the exposure while giving back the same uncompromising and brutally honest energy we’ve come to love them for.  The future of music is in good hands.
